Had a baby and received some gifts.
What do you usually write in a thank you card for baby gifts?
Thank you!

I had a friend send a thank you card recently where she wrote from the baby’s perspective. It was pretty cute.
“Thank you so much for the soft blanket. I love napping in it”
“My mommy loves the outfits you sent. I can’t quite fit into them yet, but she’s saving them for when I get bigger”

Dear ______
Thank you so much for the beautiful/thoughtful/generous (choose the most appropriate for the specific gift) gift of ________ (or if it was money no need to specify what it was) in honor of ________’s birth! We really appreciate you thinking of us. (If they came to a bris or baby girl party: In addition, we appreciate your joining us at the bris/party. Your presence truly enhanced our simcha!)
May we continue to share only simchas in the future!
Sincerely,
___________
