Hi ladies
I live OOT in a MO community
Our shul wants to start doing fun creative night for ladies, 1x a month
Last night we did flower arranging which was fun.
We already had a challah bake.
What are some ideas -
On the list we have
Canvas painting
Sushi making
What else?
Something that we can charge NO MORE than $36 and cover cost
At $36 I think we can get around 40 women to come

I went to a glass frame thing where we put little pieces of glass on a glass frame and then they fired it up and gave it back to us
But maybe he has some sort of glass making pottery something
Why not crowdsource the community? See what they want?

Can you be more specific
And is this something that could be done in a shul or is it very messy

It can be pretty messy, I did it in a place that we needed to keep clean and we covered the tables and some of the floor.
There are lots of tutorials on Youtube and blogs. You basically mix acrylic paint with a pouring medium (we used Floetrol) and then there are a variety of methods for layering and pouring paint onto a canvas.
You can make beautiful art even if you're not especially artistic.

Make a vision board
Poetry slam or karaoke night
Invite a trained musician to teach the women how to listen to the music from their instrument, and do a kumzitz
Tichel tying demos and tutorials
Fruit carving or food art
Beads and wire - make jewelry or decorate serving pieces
Neurographica or other meditative art
Yoga, Israeli dance, ballroom dancing, meditative dancing, Zumba
I think both rae shagalov and bracha goetz offer different types of writing courses - there must be something you can do with writing as a creative medium too. Maybe following prompts that allow everyone to write their own structured poem? Or having each participant add their own piece to something that becomes a group story in the end?
Candle making
Make an agamograph
Origami or paper cutting workshop

I would come and do a demo on power bowls and everyone leaves with a delicious powder bowl to take for lunch the next day.
