I think of them as toddlers once they reach 2, but until 3 I refer to them as my baby

I consider them a baby until they really walk and then a toddler. At about 2- 2.5 (when they are toilet trained and speak sentences) a real tiny person.
I did call my 23 yo yesterday and when she answered the phone I did say hello pretty baby. Her Chossan heard and giggled. My answer was she is always going to be my baby (no she is not my youngest, she is actually my oldest) and if he doesn’t think she is pretty, we have a problem. He wholeheartedly agreed.

I think kids are babies till age 5. I find that they get less demanding & more mature at that age.
I had 3 babies at one point....

My kids are about a year apart. My 1 year old was very much still a baby when my next was born.

Sure, but I don't refer to the one before my youngest as my baby.

My oldest was very verbal and was a big sister before she turned one and a half. I thought she was so big.
My current baby is likely to be my forever baby, so I imagine I’ll feel like she’s a baby for a long time.

OP's question is till what age we consider our kids a baby.
A 1 year old is still a baby even if there's another baby under them.

Like others said, until the next one. We even refer to that little one as “baby” until the next on. Then they finally get called by their name.

My 3 1/2 year old is still a baby in my eyes.
She'll probably stay my baby till I have another one... Idk when that'll be...
I would like to see a poll about till what age you use a carriage

My neighbors youngest is 6 and she puts her in a carriage when she goes far at night. She considers her a baby. My baby is 2 so she's in a carriage but would never dawn on me to put my 4, almost 5, yo in a carriage ever. Like never. She walks home after seder and any time needed.

Forever
But if you mean developmental stages, I think of babies as pre-walking when they are essentially just adorable lumps. So probably 18 months or so when they become toddlers

Around 3 I find that they turn into an actual child. For boys it’s marked by their upsherin. They suddenly start acting so big. For girls it’s more gradual I guess and maybe a bit earlier as they mature faster. It’s bittersweet, a kind of letting go and mourning stage, and usually for me it means I start feeling ready for another one.

My babies are a bunch of years apart (thank you IF) and whenever I say my baby..... I have to remember that to others an almost 4 yr old is not a baby. But it's my baby.
