I washed my own lettuce to save money instead of using the prewashed lettuce. I poured too much soap and no matter how many times I strained it, it still tastes soapy. I had soapy salad for supper. How can I fix the rest??

Soak it in fresh ice water. Keep agitating the leaves.
Then do it again with fresh water and fresh ice.

Won't help with the lettuce, but for future, I find that a really mild dish soap makes a difference. Either seventh generation, or Palmolive clear, unscented have worked well for me
