How much do you spend on clothing per year for yourself?

What about beauty? Sheitels, hair done, nails, makeup, salon appointments etc.

I’m super low maintenance. My sheitel macher won’t make a living off me, since I get mine washed 2x a year. Other than haircuts at Supercuts every 3-4 months I don’t do anything else. New clothes, minimal. BH having little kids means I don’t want to wear anything too precious since I’m not dry cleaning anything. I couldn’t guess what this costs but it’s not a lot

I'm also very low maintenance.

I don't do salon procedures. But I'm lucky, I don't have hair that needs to be removed and good skin. If I did, I'm sure I would take care of it. I tint my eyebrows, do my wigs, manicure and pedicure myself. I also do my own makeup for smachot. I do this largely to save money, but also because I do a good job and like having the convenience of not having to fit more appointments into my day.

I do buy a fair (probably 10-15 items) amount of clothing every year but never high end and usually on sale.

I don't think I look as low maintenance as I am. I also thinks it helps that my children are older and I therefore have more time and patience for things like doing my nails.

Im also super super low maintenance, which is funny because I spend around 40k on wardrobe

Beauty- maybe like $100? I do my own wig, nails, makeup for events. I only buy the occasional lip gloss or eyeliner when im running low, but I almost never wear makeup

Clothes- I could use $3000 a year but I make do with less because we don’t have that budget.

Beauty- waxing $15 a month, electrolysis $30 every few months, sheitels washed and set approx $500 a year, haircuts approx $120 a year, mani pedi for yt $200 a year

I love clothes, and a good sale is my muse. Full price is not a sport and not exciting at all. I have no idea what I spend. Probably about $1500.
I haven’t had my nails done professionally since 2012, don’t really wear makeup -I spend at most $50 a year at CVS/Amazon, and have never had wax/laser…..(I have Daisy Plus razors from Costco and a good set of tweezers), my shaital I do myself and is 10 years old-in perfect condition and rarely worn as I often cover with a scarf from the above budget. I also don’t drink coffee or soda so I don’t buy drinks.
I hope I don’t look low budget. B”H I could spend more-just no interest.

Realistically it depends on the how many simchas that year
Clothes /shoes 500-5000
Electrolosis 50, Nails 15-50, Sheitel - 200-500, makeup/toiletries 100-300 depending if need something

Clothing- about 2k probably
Shoes- about 1k
Makeup- about 4-500
Electrolysis and laser- about $3500
Shaitels- about $600
Mani pedis- about $2-300

None of this is extravagant or so crazy where I live
I have friends that spend 2k on just one outfit

I don’t feel the need to hide judgment of such unbelievably extravagant spending.

No judging here. But I think we have different definitions of low maintenance. I personally wasn’t speaking to low maintenance in terms of beauty treatment, I meant all around. It doesn’t take a lot or cost a lot for me to be ‘maintained’ In any case may Gd continue to bless you and your family with parnassah so you can always have everything your heart desires.

I'm not judging, just surprised & shocked and thought it must be a typo....
If you have the money, spend as you wish!
(Just don't call yourself low maintenance, you're the opposite of that!)

I budget $60 a month for shaitels. Either I use it for getting one washed or it goes to a fund for repairs, dyes and eventually a new shaitel.
I don't do my nails except for a simcha so maybe once a year $18.
Makeup I buy as I run out or need, I use very little makeup on a daily basis. Maybe $100 a year.
I used to wax monthly but last year invested in laser so that was a big frontal expense but now I'm not paying anymore. I should probably deal with my eyebrows but I havent in a while, they look fine.
Clothing is an annoying one. I don't wear fancy clothes or lots of clothes but my size changes so often that I am often buying clothes. Maybe $800 on myself. I am also hard on my shoes so probably 2 pairs a year. I'm a very practically minded dresser as you can tell.

Makeup, Botox , microneedling: $2-3k
Manicures: couple hundred
Wigs- I buy one every year and a half $3k
