what are the best grapes for homemade grape juice?
I havent yet looked for "recipes".
is there one standard way of making it?

Not sure best grapes but my mother makes it like this I think. Blend grapes in food processor. Freeze it completely. Defrost over cheese cloth. Takes a long time to defrost.

Just be aware, your home made grape juice is not mevushal. If you have cleaning help, you need to be extra careful with it.

This is the very basic standard way. I wonder if there's even a different way of doing it.

Concord, which is what most commercial grape juice is made of and of course Concord wine. Muscadine and Niagara are also good.

Concord grapes aren't in season now and hard to get. I think she uses regular red or black grapes but not sure and she happens to make it organic so she buys organic grapes.

there is another way of straining over a bowl as soon as its blended. dont have to freeze first.
wonder what the diff between freezing and straining right away is.
