I've been very happy with my IPL for my legs and underarms.

Can I use it on my upper lip to? Chin? Aside from removing hair, does it really remove spots and scars?

TIA!!

me too. I was googling if its ok to use on the face or not, and it seems there is a whole specialty of using it on the face to even out skin tone, lighten scars.... not sure if that can work with the same regular IPL machine though.

When I did laser on my upper lip I suddenly started growing chin hairs that I never had before. I definitely regret it..

Yes!!

I've seen amazing results so far. I'd love to do it for my face but I'm nervous

I’m using it on my face and other areas bought it bc I couldn’t get to my laser appointments and it’s so convenient whenever I want I keep a schedule but much easier then going for appointments and cheaper 😝

Does this hurt the same way real laser hurts?

No, mamesh not.

I haven't done real laser, but IPL doesn't hurt. There are three levels of strength, and I do the strongest on my legs, weaker on underarm, etc...

On my legs, I generally don't feel anything at all. If I do the same area a few times in a row, I feel like a slight hot flash, but its not painful.

On other areas though, I do sometimes feel the flash stronger- like a quick, light burn (like an 'ouch!', or 'oh!' but then it disappears in a second.
Its definitely tolerable though, and there is also a smaller head for more sensitive areas, though I never use it.

Do you need to wear protective goggles while using it? I have at home for a while and haven't gotten around to using it yet

I try for at least once a week.
Some areas I get around to even more often, and those I think have the best results

Yes best to always use the protective goggles and the aloe Vera gel afterwards it protects your eyes and helps heal the skin
