From thumb of foot. He was basically doing it to himself by constantly picking his skin and nail around infection. Until full nail came off came place looks raw. Shrieking in pain while asleep. Any advice?

He’s probably irritating the sensitive skin when he’s moving around 
Put on a thick layer of bacitracin, cover with a bandaid and then put on a sock that he can’t pull off in his sleep. If he’s still crying, I’d give him some Motrin.

oy, refua shelaima. for now what previous poster said. I'd go to the doc to make sure there isn't an infection.
