My husband and I are looking into different communities in the Five Towns. If you live in the five towns, can you please describe your area hashkafically and the type of people that live there? Where they send to school? If you can be specific with your area, it would be really appreciated

It's really a big mix of people in most neighborhoods in the 5towns. Can you explain what you are looking for and we can recommend a neighborhood. I live in Cedarhurst and it's a very diverse community. I send to darchei. I have neighnors who send to halb, south shore, shulamith, Yeshiva ketana, bais yakov ateres mirian, Bais Yakov 5towns, tag, people send their kids to crown heights for lubavitch schools.

I live in north woodmere. I love it here!! Nicest people tons of chesed, amazing sense of community… hashkafah wise there’s a spectrum. Prob majority send to darchei/yeshiva ketana and tag/bby
Also some shulamit and south shore. A few halb haftr. We have a lot of shuls with different crowds. Great rabbanim. Also very pretty neighborhood. Prices have gone up a ton though. It’s def a younger community. The “old” people here have high school aged kids. A lot of young families in their twenties and thirties. I’d say any family from 40s down can find their place here.
