If you don't work in a school or very frum environment is the word zexy used to describe a deal or offer, or to describe a car or anything else . Do you ever use this term ?Any thoughts on this ?

I can hear a car being described as s-xy if it is indeed s-xy.

Yes, but it really depends on the type of setting

In my industry it’s a very common term to use when referring to deals, but in a very frum office I would not use it

In general, it’s a common phrase and in my circles most people will use it to describe something in an appropriate way

I’ve heard zexy used as “exciting”, “attractive”

I think it's vulgar and would never say it myself. It is common though. Like "this business deal is sxy" it means interesting and appealing not boring. "Taxes aren't a sxy part of your business but they're important" etc

It’s definitely used in the wider world but not something I ever hear in my own corner.

This.

I’ve heard it enough times that sometimes I’ll think it in my head - for something with sensual aesthetics and appeal like a car or a musical instrument - but I wouldn’t EVER say it out loud. I can’t control the thoughts that pop into my head, but I can control what comes out of my mouth 😉

I never use it. My (Yeshivish) husband will say it only to me to describe me, lingerie, or maybe a certain type of bedroom or cool bathroom.

It's used as a synonym for "very attractive and exciting." I wouldn't call it vulgar, but I would be selective about using it in front of certain audiences like my mother, the PTA, a rabbi...

Yes, it's definitely used in the corporate non frum world.
As in, "let's make this presentation sèxy", meaning let's make it really eye catching and exciting.
And when doing some real grunt work that is required to further the project, someone would totally say, 'here's the non- sèxy piece'

Doesn't bother me, I've been hearing it for years.

Eta: I don't use it in conversation with frum people and neither does anyone I socialize with.

I’ve never heard anyone in my secular workplace use it but I do work with a more refined crowd. Would never use it myself outside the bedroom and neither would dh.
