If your kids didn't get to give their rabbeim in Mesivta on Purim would you give when they go back to yeshiva?
Would it make a difference if you wouldn't be giving them a check or it's an English teacher?

I would give. Why not? I seriously don’t think people sit there and think “that’s so weird, why are they giving me?.” Why wouldn’t they just appreciate it for whatever it’s worth?

I would give the first day back after purim but not later than that.
