Ok.

I bought Honeycrisp apples, strawberries, plums.

Should I bake them all in a 9X13 at350 with a pesach crumb topping

or

put them in a pot and let them cook on a low flame.

I want to do this first thing in he morning.
I don't want to add any sugar but I'm okay with drizzling a little Silan (date syrup)

What do you think : fruit crumble or a compote? What's a healthier option.

Can you please help me out with how to do this...

THANK YOU :-)

Healthier to cook
What I like more, crumble.

I’d do whet my kids and guest would enjoy more.

To be honest, I'd probably use the strawberries and plums for a fruit salad, and cook the apples and maybe a few of the plums as compote.

I made a compote in the oven with apples and pears. Calls for plums too. Honey cinnamon and water. Came out better than compote in a pot but didn't even need the honey so much.

Plums have got a lot of sugar, and when you cook them slowly it all gets released and tastes wonderful.

I would do the crumble with a nut topping, I actually feel it's more blood sugar friendly that way.

Sounds delicious. What temperature? How long? Peeled or unpeeled?
