I have amazon credit and every time I go go purchase something, it'll automatically be deducted from my credit. I don't want that since it was given to me as a gift and want to use that credit for only "gift items" how can I change the setting without changing it each time I buy something?

When you go to check out you need to look for where it asks whether to apply gift credit towards the purchase. Right where it asks about points.

Thanks but I'm asking how to change it from automatically applying the purchase as a gift card credit and actually paying a credit card vs a $0 purchase
