I submitted my jersey care renewal online at the end of December and it is still listed as pending. Is this normal?
Also back in the beginning of the year, I got a pay raise and never reported it to jersey care/food stamps. How do I go about reporting the income change? Only my kids are on jersey care so their eligiblity does not change. I would maybe get kicked off of food stamps or get way less. I really need the food stamp money.

Yes, application renewal process can take time.

When you filled out renewal forms there should have been a section with income info. There’s space there to change income if applicable.

Yes, it is very important to keep info current with programs. You don’t want them to charge flour back for what they paid out if you aren’t eligible anymore.

For jersey care just call them 18007010710.

Food stamps just as important but don’t have any other information for you.

Adjustment to middle class income is hard.

Good luck!

Call jerseycare to update your income with them.

They’re very slow on processing renewals and new applications.
