Hi,
Can anyone give me ballpark numbers of what it would cost to update an old home we're maybe thinking of (of course we will talk to the pros, but I want to know if we should even consider the house at all)

Redo 2 bathrooms (one is fully tiled. The other is half tiled)

Kitchen- stove/oven, maybe countertops and cabinets, maybe floor

Window treatments in multiple rooms

Remove carpeting (I think the floor under is solid, would hopefully just need scraping and finishing? I don't know)

Were not looking for high end, just livable

Soooo many variables. We redid our kitchen from ground up (cost 100k; did mid range cabinets, wolf appliances...). Redid upstairs floors after removing carpet, which cost 7,500 (5 bedrooms but around 2500 square feet of space). Bathrooms, we did cosmetic fixes (paint, lighting, new vanities and toilets) for around 1k each, not including materials. Everything depends. Size of space, location, materials picked... it's really hard to gauge.
