I was injured at work and broke a bone. I fell but it wasn't due to any negligence on their part

Does anyone have experience on what I can get in terms of financial help?
Is workers comp just to pay for doctors appointment?
Can I get temporary disability?
Anyone had this situation before and have any suggestions for me?

You have to ask your employer to open a claim with their workers comp policy. Every policy is different in what they might cover.

This is workers comp. There should be coverage for medical needs in addition to pain, loss of income etc. I don't think you can file for disability if it was a workplace injury.

What do you mean by in addition to pain? Can I possibly get paid by workers comp for the days of work I had to miss?

eta- Oh I see you wrote lost income

Typically you can get paid for lost days after a designated waiting period

Thank you
I feel bad to make my work be busy with this but I guess it is what it is? I can't afford to lose the money from the lost days

It is very minimal work for your company to fill out the form.

They file with the insurance which is something they pay for - companies are legally required to file WC insurance.

In fact your health insurance won't cover your if you are entitled to WC. They will subrogate against the WC insurance just like auto insurance subrogates against the auto insurance company.

Negligence isn't required. It is one of the legal tradeoffs for limiting how much an employee can "sue" for.
