I live in a young community and run the N’shei of our shul. I would love to have an event in the next month.
Goal is to entice new members to come and feel comfortable
Any ideas??

My shul's Nishei brought in someone to teach us how to make cheeseboards. It was set up really nicely in someone's backyard with some light refreshments and fun drinks and pretty lighting. It was a lot of fun to experiment with different ways to cut up cheeses and lay out crackers and other stuff and shmooze with the ladies we ended up sitting near. My family also appreciated the snack when I brought home the cheeseboard!
I think they did a floral arrangements class once but I wasn't able to go. They also did a cheesecake tasting where anyone who wanted to make some kind of cheesecake or dairy pastry could bring it over and they cut things into small pieces so we could go around tasting everyone's baking and of course shmoozing.
