I add a little bit of lemon juice so the sauce is not too sweet. I also don't bother with the extra step of cooking the sauce. Why get another pot dirty?

1 can cranberry sauce (jellied, not whole berry)
1 beer
1 can of ketchup (fill the empty cranberry sauce can)
a few shakes of onion powder
a few shakes of seasoned salt
Cook in crockpot. (I do on high for 2.5 hours, low for 3 hours, but this may make it softer than you like.)

I already bought 1 can, can't wait to report back - I now have a serious craving for something like this.

I use one can of jellied cranberry sauce, some red wine, lots of onion powder, and black pepper. Mix it all up (add a little hot water if you want to get it smooth) and pour it over the meat. Cover tightly and keep basting as it cooks.
Double the amount for a lot of meat.

Beer cooks off and tenderizes the meat.

I'm going to take you recipes and make my own. I'm not such a ketchup or onion soup mix fan, sooo, I'm going to put whole berry (I love whole berry) cranberry sauce with beer and onions that I sauteed when searing the meat and some garlic powder and pepper. then I'm going to cook it in the crock pot. I hope it turns out well.

I covered a London broil and it’s comfortably bathing in the sauce.
