eeeewwww! I never thought that people wouldn't change the linen between guests. Guess I'll have to be more careful where I stay.

I used to go to a house for shabbos and was completely convinced that they never changed the linens for guest.
One time when I was there, I drew a small dot on one side of the fitted sheet. Next time I went there, the same dot was still there at the exact same spot!
Yuck!

when I know for sure that they dont or didnt change the sheets I do it my self! I find out where the linen closet is and get new sheets-there is no way I'm gonna sleep on dirty sheets!!

I always offer to change the linen myself. I always put fresh linen for guests. I sometimes wonder about hotel linen though.

I am in a hotel quite often (hubby works there, so it is every second shabbat) and I can assure you, they change, clean and desinfect, what they don't do soooo often is vacuum clean the carpets and therefore I always take slippers.

What I might not do is change linen every time for the same guests. I.e. if I have guests one week and know they're coming back in a week or two (and no other people will need the bedding in between) then I'll leave the linen on the beds for them.
