I was planning on making soup, but DH thinks it'll be too filling and therefore doesn't want it.
Any other ideas for a purim seuda appetizer? Thanks!

baked kreplach? use ready made puff pastry and put chopped meat or chicken inside. there is a recipe in kbd short on time for morrocan turnovers if you want a recipe to follow.

I was also thinking soup, but now I'm thinking it might be too hot for that.
My back up is smoked salmon with avocado salad. Maybe I'll add some egg and tuna salad as well...

Raisin that sounds yummy. I have that cookbook maybe I'll flip through it.
Baba, I'd love to make something with salmon but sadly, the man of the house won't go near fish :-(.

I myself have been wanting to try the moroccan turnovers but have been unsure how they would taste. Thanks for mentioning it.

my dh absolutely loved them! (me too) I can't remember if the kids liked the spices though, but you could make a few without spices for children.
