Im trying to return to my pre-baby weight and I would like to share my goals and triumphs with those of you in a similar situation.

There may already be something like this on imamother but I cant find it so if this type of post has already been done please direct me to it.

I used to post regularly on other mom&baby websites and it motivated me to stick to the diet/excercise etc if I knew I had to post my weight for the week on a public forum and I would like to continue this but with jewish friends.

Anyone up for it? Sunny

I'll join.
I go to a diet group every Tues. morning where I get weighed.

Was: 148
Now: 136
Goal: 120

I don't expect to reach my goal while I'm still nursing, although it would be nice.

Okay, I'm joining too.

WAS: too embarrassed to say I apparently gained tons more weight while pregnant than u all did
NOW: 10 lb over desired weight
GOAL: to excersize min of 4 x a week, fit back into all my clothes, drop about 10 lb give or take,
and to stop eating dh's junk food

My starting weight that I posted was my weight when I started my diet - when my baby was 2 months old.
I weighed 15-20 lbs more than that in my 9th month.

Don't worry ladies you can do it. I gained 66 with first pregnancy, 59 with second, and 80 with third. Guess what?? Now I am 10lbs below what my prepregnancy weight was wiht my first and my baby is 11 months old.

pre preg: 140 lb
after preg: 170 lb
1 1/2yr after preg: 160 lb
2 yr after: 150 lb
now: 155 lb-its been a bad few mts for me starting with chanukkah doughnuts!! but I'm back on track-south beach diet.
goal: 135 lb but I'll be happy to get back to 140!

The starting weight I posted (135) was from 2months ago when I properly started dieting / excercising.

My weight @ 9m preg: 163ibs. A good 20 - 25ibs came off within the first month after giving birth, I was exclusively b/f so that may have helped but the stubborn 10-15ibs did not shift.

They say it takes 9months to put the weight on so expect 9m to take it off again and that was my original goal. However complications arose when my baby was 7m which prevented me from losing weight. When he was 11m I returned my attention to my physical shape so here I am, with a 13month old toddler and 7ibs left to lose.

on the plus side I did a pilates video
on the minus side I didn't excersize but the once last week COS I WAS SOOOOOOO charliehorse! who knew pilates was such an intense workout.

but although I was not perfect with dh's nosh I was pretty ok.

pre preg: 115
preg: 155
1 month post preg: 140
4 months post: 150
1 Yr later: 139

goal: work out 3 times a week
get to 120

just stopped nursing maybe it will help lose, since it obviously didn't help me lost while I was nursing!!
