Two men who founded the Holy Land charity (a big US Muslim charity accused of sending money to Hamas) were sentenced to 65 years in jail each. link
My thoughts:
1. 65 years??? Wow. In Israel I think it would have been maybe 8 years. 5 with good behavior.
2. How is this different from what the American government is doing? OK, so they gave money to the needy in Gaza directly through Hamas and America is giving money to the needy in Gaza through the UN (which employs members of Hamas)... but the argument that the money frees up Hamas money for weapons is equally valid in either case IMO... so why are these guys getting jail time when $300 million is US money is going to basically the exact same cause?
Anyone else have thoughts?

I think its great 65 yrs is a small price to pay
as for issue #2, what can I say. the US govt makes poor decisions. I didnt vote for Obama, Im certainly not happy with the current administration and the Obama-Netanyahu meeting last week just made me realize how scary things might get (ie-Iran) as did yesterdays supreme court nomination. politicians are hypocrites. welcome to planet earth lol.
