Does anyone know if a pillow filled with buchwheat hulls can be used at Pesach?

buckwheat is kitniyos. fine only if you're sefaradi.

Kitniyos is fine outside of the kitchen, isn't it? Why couldn't you use it? If it were actual chometz you couldn't derive any benefit from it, but if it's just kitniyos you just can't EAT it, you can own it and make use of it. You can use cornstarch as a powder on baby's bottom for instance, you are just supposed to then be sure to wash your hands before going to the kitchen (which one would hope you would do for sanitary reasons anyway).
