I am trying to cut back on my flour- really want to eliminate it altogether.
Does anyone have a recipe for cheese latkes without the flour?? Or something similar?

I've made them with oat bran or oatmeal-dont remember which! They came out good but different from the norm.

Almond flour sounds okay... what would it taste like? And is it expensive?

it would taste nice, pretty close. You can use oats too... chop it in the food processor to make it into oat meal.

Do you know if it is generally more expensive than regular white flour, and if yes, by how much?

At Trader Joe's, a 16 oz bag of almond meal is $5 (and they're very reasonable).

Just a note, the almond flour on DigestiveWellness.com is SCD legal... If you're not on the SCD diet, then you don't need it. SCD flours are made by peeling the skins off the nuts, then roasting them and grinding them. If you can tolerate the skins, then you can buy nut flour in any health food store.
