I just typed the recipe up last week for a friend of mine! I wish I'd seen this earlier!
By the way, I add more flour than the recipe calls for, and I also use garlic salt - and more than the salt amount than the recipe calls for. I always try the mixture to make sure it's seasoned enough.

What's the consistancy of the batter/dough supposed to be like? I've been adding extra flour, and I don't know how much more to use.
Quick please? Thanks!

It should be fairly thick (like paste) because you have to scoop it onto pieces of foil.

That's a great idea. I was just thinking that kishka tastes really good with some sweetener. (Had kishka stuffed chicken last night with honey, and the honey was what made it so good.)
Well, two recipes of kishka are in the oven right now, so I guess I can try adding sweetener to my kishka next time around.

We also love this recipe. The first few times I made it, it didn't keep it's shape well. It would sort of flatten out. Now I make the recipe and wrap it in greased parchment paper. I then microwave it for 2 minutes. Then I bake it. This way it makes nice round slices.
