just a warning - I made one last year from a recipe on this site and it was NOT good. But I don't remember whose it was, I do remember it having beer though...

Mix together 1 can of cranberry sauce (either jellied or whole berry, your preference) with foil packet (or around 3 Tbsp.) dried onion soup mix.
Spread over top of meat. Roast covered tightly until slightly underdone, slice, return meat to pan juices and cook until soft.
