Yes, it is possible to ovulate twice in a cycle. Very rare.

I don't know, she did say that it is so rare and usually only happens in animals.
Maybe they really were conceived at the same time but 1 is developmentally behind even though that doesn't usually happen that early.
Weird story though!

my sister had a cat that was carrying 2 litters of kittens at the same time ... first I ever heard of such a thing ... but a human ?!
sounds more like they are supposing it's because of size differences and are worried about the second smaller baby - can't imagine having so many sonograms is too healthy either ...

I guess this explains the gemara where it says that a pregnant woman can use bc to prevent her from conceiving again while pregnant. I have wondered how that is possible.

She wouldn't have bled because she was already pregnant.

My grandmother told me that a relative of hers gave birth to two boys 2 1/2 months apart. The first was born after 9 months of pregnancy and the second was obviously conceived later. She wasn't carrying him for 11.5 months.

I think there was a similar story in England last year. Where a women gave birth to 2 healthy girls who were conceived 1 - 2 weeks apart from each other.

I heard about a lady who had a black, and white separate babies, conceived within 2 weeks with 2 different fathers. Serves her right.

She is going to deliver both at the first one's due date. They will be raised as twins.
The labor from the first will bring them both out...
Also, when you adopt a child the same age as your own... you're also very likely to raise them as twins. Actually, what does 'raise as twins' mean? Matching clothes? Whatever...

It's never fully closed, especially in women who have given birth before (I have no idea if she has or hasn't. I didn't watch the video.)

So weird. I was discussing this with a co-worker and she said that her mother had her period normally for 3 months even after she was pregnant. How weird is that?!?!

It also says that in the gemara. That a woman needs to keep vestos during the first three months of pregnancy for that reason.
