I also have an ice cream make at home but all the recipes are milk. YOu can just try to substitue the milk with the whip cream but dont put to much becasue it will make the ice cream really hard.

thanks for asking. It was for a friend. I have a whole different issue with ice cream (my son can't tolerate milk or soy). She is trying it for this shabbos.

I once made pareve ice cream in an ice cream machine it came out really good. use rice milk, soy milk or the like instead of the milk continue the recipe from there. try it it comes out interesting especially if you use rice milk

By the way you do not need an ice-cream machine to make delicous tasting ice-cream the lubavitch cookbook has an excellent recipe (though I did modify the amount of eggs and sugar used) It is called the pareve neapolitan ice-cream I have my kids with neighbors kids begging me for some!

My friend was given the machine by her mother (who is not frum) and she wanted to use it to make her mother feel good cause she was trying so hard. Problem is they don't eat milchiks much so she didn't want to make it milchik.
