THE MOST DANGEROUS CAKE RECIPE

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous.

And why is this most dangerous cake recipe in the world?

Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Ok isn't it supposed to be disgustingly greasy?
(Just to try to get our diets all back on track before I go into the kitchen and make one for myself...)

Aren't things cooked in a microwave supposed to be unhealthy
(but considering what else I eat three minutes in micro is no big deal)

And besides, who makes a cake for only two people?
(says freidasima as she just nudged dh and said "we are going to have chocolate cake for supper and then I will find a protein as well but ha'ikar we will have cake)....

I'll think of a few more reasons
(after I finish mixing and have the cake in the micro)

a kid came home
We are three people.
If the chayal comes in and he is due any minute we will be four
Guess who won't get a taste (dh and me)

Ok it's really dry. Maybe I put in too much flour. Maybe because it is whole wheat flour?
maybe if I put some ice cream on it it will be better?

lucky me that I had to throw out my microwave!! Tongue Out

this really sounds yum! oh well! I guess when I'll eventually get another microwave this will be the first thing I'll make it in!

Well the jury is back. DH loved it. A guest who walked in and had dd's portion loved hers. I ate another and it wasn't half bad and our chayal just walked in and I am about to make a new one for him.

OOh! This sounds super dedooper! I always used to bake till about 3 weeks ago when my mixer broke down! Cant afford a new one right now, and DH misses my home made goodies. Thanks for the idea. Ill make it ASAP!!
