I live in Suburbia, not in a Frum area and I carpool to a frum school with a couple of other families. One child, 8 years old, comes to my house after school 3 days a week till her mother gets off work and can pick her up. It's usually between 2-2 1/2 hours and I give her supper with my kids and kinda encourage her to do her homework but don't make her if she puts up a fuss. I need to know what a reasonable charge would be per hour. I was thinking $12. Does that sound reasonable? I haven't babysat in 15 years and rates must have gone up since then!!
