Here is the chocolate mousse pie recipe:
6-8 eggs separated- I use 7, wait 15 min till they get to room temp b4 starting
16 oz richs whip, divided (8 oz. and 8 oz)
250 grams baking chocolate, melted (I melt in microwave)
4 Tbsp sugar, divided (2 and 2)
1. Beat egg whites with 2 tbsp sugar (adding sugar a little at a time), until stiff.
2. Mix egg yolks with 2 tbsp sugar and melted chocolate.
3. Whip up 8 oz of whip topping. Fold whip into the choc mixture.
4. Then fold egg whites into this mixture.
Pour into graham cracker pie crust - this recipe makes 2 of the bigger pies. Put into fridge to harden so that the whip wont sink when you add it on top.
Once its hardened (check with your finger) top with the other 8 oz of whip topping, whipped.
Take a vegetable peeler and shave baking choc over the top to garnish.
Keep the pie in the fridge.
You can keep the extra pie in the freezer for up to 2 wks.
