We would like to take our 3 year old on an afternoon outing today, somewhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Any other ideas, where the parents would be more involved in the activities along with the child?
I was thinking along the lines of Prospect Park Zoo, with a picnic supper. But I am really looking for another idea besides the zoo.
