do you keep a Shmirah by the baby (ie. Perek 121 Tehillim, etc)?
We are strict to keep that by our babies for the 1st year, but maybe there's another concern? |

I assume it's a kabbalistic concern that is why we have Shmirah by the baby. maybe it isn't. I've always seen Shmirah very prevelantly among Lubavitchers, by L&D for the woman (but usually in a double covering for kavod) and by the bassinette for the baby afterwards, over the doorways inthe home, on the baby's carriage.
