OK...this is easy. FROZEN PUFF PASTRY DOUGH!! Dice peeled & cored apples, add sugar, raisins & cinammon (optional). Roll out pastry, fill, fold over, egg & sugar mix on top, make slits on top, bake 350 till golden brown. Don't forget to seal the underneath well or it will ooze out.

I tried using grated apples once...it was a soggy mush.
