I just joined facebook and still learning how it works.
How can I make that only my friends see what I write and that I am not opened to everybody on facebook?

Go to privacy settings. From there, make sure you select EVERY box to "just my friends" (versus "All of facebook,") etc. Note: If you want old friends to be able to find you, select "people can find me" (or something like that.) But for status updates, pictures, etc., make it all private. You'll see an icon resembling a lock on the settings page. Click that.

Oh...and since you mentioned you're new to Facebook: Let me know if you have questions about how to turn off everyone's status updates over everything. It may come in handy!! Smile

go to Setting, then Privacy Settings on the top blue bar of your FB page. Then click on Profile, Search, and News Feed and Wall and change the settings there and click save.
