Is it possible to make a milkshake with an immersion blender or do you need that fancy machine thing? If yes, do you have a recipe/method of how to do this?

I also wondered that. I think I tried it once, and it wasn't the same thing. But I'm not sure why it shouldn't work.
You can get the milkshake machine for like $40 (prob. less by now.)
I bought 1 for my sis about 6 yrs. ago in COstco for that price.
Still going good & strong. And she uses it often.
