Poached Fruit
from the internet, with my changes
1 cup apple juice
2 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
cloves, to taste (I put them in a tea ball and filled it up halfway)
3 apples & 3 pears, or assortment of peaches, apricots, plums, blueberries, raisins as you wish; sliced
Cook all ingredients except your soft fruit for 10 minutes, then add soft fruits and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
Let cook before serving.
