I'm trying to choose a masters program, and while an online program seems a lot more convenient, I'm wondering if it will be difficult to learn without actually going to classes.
What was your experience doing an online program? Did you find that you learned a lot? Was it difficult to learn the material without actually going to classes?
TIA!

I took three online special ed courses through Touro. One class gave an enormous amount of work. The other two classes hardly gave any. There was alot of reading, which I have to admit I skimmed alot of it just to get the assignments done. You are given deadlines and you have to do it on time or else you are penalized. I wish I had more hands on and a Professor who can share personal experiences. all my learning came from reading. One professor only went through half the text in a semester. I don't even know what I missed. Meanwhile, I was able to work, take care of my kids and the house while doing my degree. so you have to weigh what's important to you. There is no way I would have been able to take so much time out of my life to go to class.
