Run a gan, day care or playgroup? are you liscensed?

Just curious, are you liscened? what happens if you are not? Can you call it something other than a day care, like "babysitting" or something and not have a liscence? or is it neccesary? Do parents prefer it?

It depends where you live. Different states have different rule.
