I use regular food storage bags (the 1 gallon size) with twist ties. My goal is to make the challahs small enough to fit. If not I put on one each end and then the whole thing into a grocery store bag.
My challahs aren't generally in the freezer long enough to get freezer burnt. A batch lasts two weeks, two and a half at the most.
