I'm not talking about big bucks here. We all chipped in for a present for our in laws and my s.I.l. never paid me back (it's been about 3 months) also she bought something off me and still hasn't paid me. It's not a lot of money, about 30 dollars total, but still I would like to see my money. How do I ask her, I really don't want to sount petty or rude or anything.

Sometimes ppl just forget and you can nicely remind.. nothing wrong with it.

Just tell her the next time you see her that she didn't pay you yet. If said nicely and in private, there's nothing rude about it.
