My one year old still doesnt go to bed on his own, we have to sit with him for at least half an hour every night singing to him. What to do? Any suggestions? How does everyone else put their babys to sleep?

we family bedded..
but I honestly don't think 1/2hr for snuggling etc before bed s excessive. You can try doing the wind down Give him some milk and crackers or similar food about an hour before bed, followed by a warm bath, then quiet play (maybe have him put his dolls/toys to sleep) read a few stories, sing a few songs.
