for the past few days, my 6 week old baby is waking up for feedings, and then shortly after the feeding falls back asleep until the next feeding. hes hardly ever up! is this a problem, or should I just thank my lucky stars?

Make sure he's gaining weight and has dirty and wet diapers. But it's probably just a phase that you should enjoy

I remember having the same thing for awhile when my son was a newborn. Dr. asked me why I'm questioning my good luck. Like the person above me said, as long as when the baby is up he is alert and pays attention, has dirty and wet diapers, I might mention it to the doctor, but it's probably a phase or you just have a calm and sleepy baby.
