Garlic Knots
- to use up that pesky challah dough (but you can use pizza dough, also)
Take however much challah dough you have, and roll them out into strands. Knot only the middle, leaving the two ends long, and put them on a small cookie sheet or shallow baking pan. Bake about half an hour, until brown.
After removing from oven, top knots with a mashed garlic clove, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 T parsley, and 2 T oil, any kind. Serve warm.
Great for Friday night, after the fish course, from a pan near the blech..
