I just want to add that this fridge,w hich is a ge profile, is a piece of garbage and has so many broken off pieces, I don't dare so a full clean more often than this. every single time I clean it some thing breaks. I would never buy ge profile appliances again.

Every one to two weeks.
I have a method that is real easy. I take the stuff out. Spray with fantastik with bleach. Wipe with paper towel to take off crumbs. Then wash down with a shmattah to remove residue, And dry with a paper towel.
The fridge sparkles.
If I'm lazy (often enough) I only do the fruit bin, and shelf right on top. That's the shelves that need it most. The I do the rest as needed.
But definitely - fantastic with bleach is the way to go. Just don't spray on your clothes. lol.

I'll do a check and get rid of mouldy stuff whatever prob every week, but actually cleaning? Pesach. Unless raw chicken juice has leaked onto the bottom. Saying that, my fridge only has wire shelves, so it's really just the bottom, and the hole where the water goes down at the back where it gets dirty. So that get's cleaned a with a basic wipe a few times a year.
