I want to make cookies for my family with no sugar and no flour.
I know I can use home made applesauce in place of sugar and bran in place of flour, but what other healthy goodies can I put in to the cookies?

I hve a peanut butter cookie recipe here, with no flour. not sure about the sugar though. we don't deem sugar unhealthy.
fake sugar, though, is a gas attack waiting to happen.

fake sugar, though, is a gas attack waiting to happen. | I wrote that in place of sugar I was going to put home made apple sauce.

I would think that using whole oats and an egg would help. Add cinnamon, your applesauce and some bran. Maybe nuts too.

I tried finding carob chips in my local health food store and they did not know what I was talking about. That was a thought, but I guess not.

applesauce is supposed to be a substitute for fat-not sugar. My mom would use apple juice concentrate in place of sugar.

2 c. raw oatmeal
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. corn oil
3 bananas
1/2 tsp. salt
Mash bananas with fork. Mix in nuts and oil. Mix in remaining ingredients. Let set a few minutes. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Watch closely as they burn easily. Leave on pan until cool.

right. the cookie or cake won't be very sweet if applesauce is the only sweetener. for that, you may as well not bake.

dark chocolate is actually supposed to be good for you. So throw in some chips.
My family loves oatmeal cookies.

Perhaps mochi substituting whatever you need for the sugar? I don't know if you can get the right kind of rice here in Israel though.
Otherwise I would go with a date/dried fruit/nut bar.

Easy if you have a food processor!
