I know 9 months is typical for a growth spurt. My 8 month old has hit all his other growth spurts pretty much on schedule, so I was expecting one in a month or so. Since I've gone through the others, I recognize what he's like during then. Today he has begun to exhibit signs of a growth spurt. Constant nursing, some irritability, and he's been wolfing down his solids too (this would be the first spurt since starting, but I assumed in addition to extra milk he would need extra food too). So- early growth spurt this time?
