Baking now and recipe calls for one square packet of quick-rise yeast. I only have a huge container of quick-rise yeast - what is this equivalent to?
Thanks!!!

Between 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 teaspoons.
Btw, I googled it for you. Never tried it myself.

Both my packets and my jar say that the packets are equivalent to 2 1/4 (that's two and a quarter) teaspoons of the loose kind.

2 1/4 teaspoons in a packet. One heaping tablespoon is more than 3 teaspoons.
