dd 2YO wants to be a "bumbabee" for "Puwum" I bought her a yellow shirt and intend to make stripes with black tape. googling, I found gaff tape, black masking tape and electrical tape in black, but I dont know what each it like...
Either I would like to use black tape that will last the day but come off after purim, not ruining the shirt,
OR strong black tape that will stay on in the wash and can leave the purim costume intact for future use.
thanks!

hockey tape is not plasticy like electrical tape, kinda like a thicker masking tape or maybe similar to surgical tape (the cloth kind). You can probably get it in a sports type of store (modells, sports authority). Lucky on your childs choice - at that age my daughter wanted to be a buttfly. Yes, you read it right.

When we were in the US we bought gorrilla tape (I think in Sears) and it is amazingly strong. Even better than duck tape.
Maybe use that and leave it as a costume for next time
