lucy louse was having a chasunah & great uncle charlie, aunt gertrude & the gantze mishpacha came whether they were invited or not ...

If it were a good friend I would do it if I were good at it and teach her along until she got manageable doing it herself.

Good to see you around greenfire,

there is a 'maybe for pay' option or did you mean that's what you chose ?

just for the record I helped & helped & helped some more ... but then it got overwhelming & exhausting ... so even good intentions are limited especially if lucy's namesake comes to visit ... thank god for shower caps & a few nightmares I became diligent with my own eviction

I agree with teaching the person 'how-to' so you have a helping hand

No option for as much as I can, not limiting myself to any specific amount of time but not extending myself more than I possibly can.
Either way, you are a good friend!

oh yes! this was a biyearly ritual at my sister's place. 5 kids (girls w/LOTS of hair) - 6 heads to clean (mine after I finished. lol)
BH now her oldest 2 have basically outgrown that stage and thank G-D for tea tree oil. I Know it smells gross.

tea tree oil is my best friend as well as kitty shampoo jojoba/vitamin e oil & the person who checked me [albeit after 7 days wherein which I can multiply quite well the potential of what 7 x 7 x 7 = your very own chasunah]

but hey I learned to comb out my own hair scalp to bottom ~ for preventive measure & I can safely say I have no knots or nits Cool

We used the lice squad when my daughter got lice.
It's not cheap but they were great!
